Frankenmuth Township only has one precinct. All voting takes place at the Public Safety Room in the Fire/Police Station next to City Hall.
You may have requested to be on the “permanent absentee ballot” list in 2024. In that case, do nothing. A ballot for each election will automatically be mailed to you at the appropriate time. If you are not on the permanent ballot list, then email the township clerk with the form below.
Fill out the form, return it to the Clerk and an absentee ballot will be mailed to you. Ballots can be dropped off at the City receptionist desk between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m or the drop box outside City Hall.

If you made a mistake, the spoiled ballot must be returned before another ballot is issued.
Contact the Clerk to be issued another ballot.
Polls open at 7:00 a.m. on Election Day and close at 8:00 p.m. All absentee ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. and can be hand-delivered to the polling station.
Overseas voters have an extra 7 days after Election Day to return their ballots by mail.
The polling place is handicap accessible. Voting assistance is available either by our trained election inspectors or with a Voter Assist Terminal.
